Franklin D. Callais, 70, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died at 2:40 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joycelyn Callais; sons, Timmy Sr. (Melissa), Mark Sr. (Joyce) and Michael Sr. (Rachel) Callais; stepson, Antonio (Angela) Pequeno; stepdaughter, Angelique (De) Cox; brother, Guill Callais Jr.; sister, Verna Guidroz; nine grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Guill Sr. and El Callais.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18 at Lafourche Fellowship Lodge 484 in Galliano, La. Burial will be at Hebert Cemetery in Galliano. (Falgout)
