Helen Rose Guidry Rodrigue, 74, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died at 10:45 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011.
Mrs. Rodrigue was a parishioner of St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, who loved to cook for Sunday gatherings. She was a retired nurse of 26 years at St. Anne Hospital. She loved her orchards and dog, Paco.
She is survived by her sons, Brian (Mary Beth), Kevin (Connie), Wayne (Roxanne Cheramie) and Craig Rodrigue; daughters, Carol (Milton) Falgoust and Linda Kraemer; brother, Enis Guidry; sisters, Geraldine Adams and June Detillier; eight grandchildren, Brian Jr., Ryan and Nick Rodrigue, Lacey Gill, Jacob Boudreaux, Nicole Falgoust, and Lindsay and Dustin Kraemer; three step-grandchildren, Kristie Gonzales, Laurie Talbot and Joshua Daigle; four great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death b y her husband, Peter Rodrigue; and parents, Sam and Enola Uzee Guidry.
She is buried at St. Mary Cemetery. (Falgout)
