Helen Theresa Lirette, 85, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Tuesday, June 17, 2014.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Houston Lirette Sr.; children, Christine Robichaux, Houston Jr., Robert and Jimmy Lirette and Patrice McGuinness; sister, Irene Lyons; 16 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleveland and Estelle LeCompte; brother, Evinse LeCompte; sister, Eulice Neil; and one grandchild.
Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
