Herman J. Gros Jr., 59, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Tuesday, August 12.
He is survived by his mother, Iver Guidry Gros; his children, Herman Joseph Gros III and wife Raquel, Brandon Paul Gros and wife Nancy, and Nicholas James Gros and wife Natalie; three brothers, Warren, Byron and Dwayne Gros; three sisters, Rosemary Boudreaux, Judy Bourgeois and Melissa Martino; and his grandchildren, Breanna Shantelle Gros, Solomon Herman Gros, Zoe Elizabeth Gros, Paul Michael Gros and Chandler Ace Fontenot.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Gros Sr.; one child, Shantelle Marie Gros; and one sister, Catherine Trosclair.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, August 14, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral with mass to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
