I.K. “Ike” Adair, 73, a native of Brownsboro, TX and resident of Montegut, La. died Thursday, June 7, 2007 at 11:00am.
He is survived by his wife, Cathern Gooch Adair, one son, Sonny Adair; two daughters, Becky Breaux and Carolyn “Liz” Adair; one sister, Darlene Adair Turlington of Brownsboro, TX; five grandchildren, Andrea Billiot, Amy Falgout, Brad Falgout, Asheley Breaux, and Megan Adair; five great grandchildren McKayln Angele, Cole Andrew, Seth Austin, Koby I.K., and Brennan Joseph.
He was preceded in death by his parents Sam Bailey Adair and Offa Elizabeth Jackson Adair of Brownsboro, TX.
I.K. was a retired fishing tool supervisor with Tri State Oil Tools and a member of Montegut Baptist Church.
Visitation is from 5:00pm until 10:00pm Friday, June 8, 2007 at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma and Saturday, June 9, 2007 from Noon until 2pm at Montegut Baptist Church with the funeral to follow.
He will be buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
