June 27, 2014Irma Mary “Mickey” Geheeb Peltier, 90, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, June 18, 2014.
Mrs. Peltier loved Mardi Gras, professional football and plays – especially those on Broadway. She graduated from Holy Angels Catholic School and Ursuline College.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Crum, Harvey III (Linda) and Mary Peltier; sisters, Ellen and Julia Geheeb and Cleo Elliot; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, former Senator Harvey Peltier Jr.; one infant son; and parents, Albert and Cleo Geheeb.
Visitation will be 8:30 to 11 a.m. Monday, June 23, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Landry’s)
