Jerry Allen Willis, 62, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Tuesday, November 25.
He is survived by his devoted companion of 25 years, Linda Young of Raceland; four sons, Issac Calloway, Jermaine Young, Donald Young Jr. and Donald Young III all of Raceland; three daughters, Michelle Willis of Houma, La., Erica Young of Raceland and Tamela Brown of Texas; one sister, Patricia “Patsy” Folse of Raceland; one brother, Mitchell Willis of Raceland; and 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Sr. and Martha Willis; two brothers, Johnny Willis Jr. and Laymond Willis; one sister, Everlina Gray; and grandparents, Louis and Beatrice Lawrence.
He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. He loved to D.J. and he loved fishing.
He was buried at St. Mathews Baptist Church Cemetery in Mathews, La.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
