Joan E. Kappel, 69, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, September 8, 2007.
She is survived by her former husband, Harry C. Morgan; one son, Timothy J. Morgan and his wife Mary Anne; two granddaughters, Stephanie and Michelle; one brother, Carrol J. Kappel and his wife Yvonne; and two half-sisters, Linda Gaston and Elizabeth Gaston Bourg.
She was preceded in death by her father, Lee O. Kappel; her stepfather, Willis Gaston; and mother, Madge Clement Gaston.
