JoAnn Boyd Griffin, 59, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Wednesday, October 14, at Ochsner St. Anne General Hospital in Raceland.
She is survived by three daughters, Melissa Griffin, Tracy Griffin and Treneka Griffin, all of Raceland; two sisters, Carrie Toussaint of Thibodaux, La., and Melinda Lazard of Larose, La.; two brothers, Lawrence Boyd of Raceland and Walter Boyd of Longview, Texas; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Lubertha Boyd; three brothers, George Boyd, Michael Boyd and Donald Boyd; and three sisters, Roxanne Boyd, Rosalie Boyd and Pamela Boyd.
She was a member of Third Zion Baptist Church.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20, at Third Zion Baptist Church in Raceland with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
