Joseph “Mr. Joe” Nelson Bergeron, 94, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, March 27, 2014.
Mr. Bergeron was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church and a member of the St. Bernadette Knights of Columbus and American Legion Post 0031. He loved fishing, crabbing and going to casinos.
He is survived by his daughter, Jo (Charles) Duncan; sister, Una Mae Champagne; one grandchild; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Bergeron; parents, Joseph and Cecile Bergeron; brother, Robert Bergeron; and sister, Mary Ellen Porche.
Burial is at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Gray, La. (Falgout)
