Karen Kraemer, 53, a native and resident of Kraemer, La., died Tuesday, Oct. 13, at 7:51 p.m.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Kermit Kraemer; parents, Roy Boudreaux and Katie Theriot; three sons, Travis, Kyle and Kaleb; two daughters, Natasha and Chrissy; three brothers, Erwin, Monty and Joey; three sisters, Roxanne, Becky and Tysie; and four grandchildren.


She was Catholic and a parishioner of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church. She enjoyed camping, cooking, gardening, crafts, sports and spending quality time with her family.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to help with the funeral costs.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
