Larry “Big Kahuna” & “Cuz” Joseph LeBoeuf, 71, a native of Montegut and resident of Houma died Sunday, June 3, 2007 at 12:30pm.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia Marie Olivier LeBoeuf and his former wife Florence Duthu LeBoeuf; three sons, Troy LeBoeuf and fiancé Cheri LeBoeuf, Scott DeHart and his wife Ginger, Dwayne DeHart and his wife Jill, and Richard Boudreaux, Jr.; six daughters, Cynthia Theriot and her husband Danny, Rosalie Grabert and her husband Larry, Angela DeGruise and her husband Hilton, Crystal LeBoeuf, Leona Gustin and her husband Jimmy, and Taira Lynn LeBoeuf; two sisters, Jacqueline Snell and Mary Jude LeBoeuf White and her husband Jules; sixteen grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Courtney, Jeffery, and Colleen LeBoeuf, Dawn Marcell, Shawn and Sharon LeBlanc, Larry, Hope and Hallie Grabert, Daniel Theriot, Greg Fonseca, Dustin, Tyler, and Hannah DeHart; eleven great grandchildren, Blake Guidry, Brennan, Landon, and Cameron Marcel, Peyton and Ashton Domangue, Macy Theriot, Morgan LeBlanc, Jaidyn Fonseca, David LeBoeuf III, and Tasmin and Hayes LeBoeuf.
He was preceded in death by his parents Irvin and Rosalie Carlos LeBoeuf; three sons, David Paul LeBoeuf, Ricky “Tug Boat” LeBoeuf, and Kevin J. Boudreaux; one granddaughter Rosary LeBlanc; one daughter, Colleen LeBoeuf LeBlanc; one great grandson, Darian Theriot; one brother Barry James LeBoeuf; one sister Nancy L. Hopkins.
Larry was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Gregory Catholic Church in Houma. He was a very generous man who donated his time and talent to many organizations.
He was the C.E.O. of the Taira Lynn Boats Company, a member of the Woodsmen of the World, Ducks Unlimited and the Fraternal Order of Police.
Visitation will be Tuesday, June 5th from 1pm until 10pm and Wednesday, June 6th from 8am until 1pm, with a religious service at 1pm at the Chapel at Falgout Funeral Home of Houma. Burial to follow at St. Francis #2 Cemetery in Houma, La.
Falgout Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
