Lauren Elizabeth Gros, 1, a native of Raceland, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died April 11.
She is survived by her parents, Gary Gros and Tierany Plaisance Gros; grandparents, Gary and Cynthia Gros and Wayne Plaisance; great-grandmother, Geraldine Gros; aunts, Camee Poirrier and husband Jerry, Malinda Riley and husband Michael, and Lydia Gros; and cousin and best friend, Seth Poirrier.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Nelson and Ouida Lirette, and Wilbert Gros; and great-uncle, Charles “Buddy” Lirette.
She was a member of St. Andrews Episcopal Church. She loved to dance and she loved music. She will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, and 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 16, at Chauvin Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with David Jenkins officiating.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
