Lawrence LeBlanc Sr., 72, a native of Arnaudville, La., and resident of Bayou L’ourse, La., died Monday, Sept. 12, 2011.
Mr. LeBlanc was an avid outdoorsman who loved camping, fishing and shrimping, but loved spending time with his family the most.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Frances LeBlanc; sons, Darry (Penny) and Lawrence Jr. (Heidi) Leblanc; daughters, Mitzi Romero, Melissa (Buddy) Weeks, Michelle (Robert) Bowers and Tammy Turnbull; stepson, Vincent Lormand; stepdaughters: Linda (Mitch) Shannon, Tammy (Gerard) Adams and Vickie Plaisted; sisters, Norma (Brad) Leger and Donna Robin; 25 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three nieces; and six nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elie and Olivia LeBlanc; and grandson, Jamie Huval.
Visitation will be 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, at Twin City Funeral Home with services at 7 p.m. (Twin City)
