LeRoss Nixon, 52, a native and resident of Raceland, LA., died Monday, April 16, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Gray, LA. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in Brooklyn Cemetery in Raceland.
He is survived by his mother, Louella Holly of Raceland; four brothers, Chester Nixon Jr., Cassius Nixon, Dernell Nixon and Clark Nixon, all of Houma, LA.; three sisters, Lisa Scruggs and husband, Gayland, of TX., Penny Williams and husband, Lester, of Houma and Doretha Blink of CA.
He was preceded in death by his father, Washington Holly; and his stepfather, Chester Nixon Sr.
He was Baptist.
Kennedy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
