Lorena Valentine Smith, 85, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died Tuesday, April 8.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. Willard Smith; daughter, Agnes Fleming; brothers, Daniel Mason and William Valentine; sister, Eunice Valentine; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie Valentine and Katie Johnson Valentine Mason; stepfather, Anderson Mason; brothers, Paul Mason and Samuel Mason; sisters, Evelina Matthews, Sarah Smith, Rebecca Welch and Katie Mae Harrell; and grandparents, Albert and Mary Johnson
She was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church and a retired employee of Terrebonne Parish School Board.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, April 14, at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Chauvin with the funeral to follow. She will be buried at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
