Lorry Joseph Simoneaux, 82, a native of Paincourtville, La., and a resident of Napoleonville, La., died Wednesday, July 30.
He is survived by one son, Glenn D. Simoneaux and wife Earline Rivere Simoneaux; one daughter, Gail S. and husband Ernest “Wayne” Floyd; two brothers, Dennis and Dolese Simoneaux; one sister, Doicy Diez; four grandchildren, Clint and Corey Simoneaux and Christopher and Mathew Floyd; and two great-grandchildren, Owen and Cole Simoneaux.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Muriel Morris Simoneaux; his parents, Dolese and Elnore Dugas Simoneaux; one daughter, Ellen M. Simoneaux; two brothers, Everet and Lawrence Simoneaux; and one sister, Lybie Picou.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home, 4080 West Airline Highway, Reserve, La. 70084.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, August 2, at Landry’s Funeral Home in Napoleonville. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville, with burial at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Donaldsonville, La.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
