Houma museum takes flight with new display
April 22, 2010Louella Borne Verret, 76, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 9:35 p.m. Sunday, April 11, 2010.
A parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church, Mrs. Verret was also a member of the St. Joseph Italian Society for many years.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gilman Verret; daughter, Kim (Craig) Fournier; two granddaughters; and sister, Nelia Melancon.
She is buried at St. Andrew Catholic Church Cemetery.
