Many “Capt. Many” Dardar, 66, a native and resident of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., died Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 2 p.m.
He is survived by two sons, Ivan Dardar and wife Judy, and Tommy Dardar and wife Juli’; one daughter, Jackie Doyle and husband Phil; two brothers, Davis Dardar and Percy Dardar Sr.; one sister, Shirleine Markham; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin Joseph Dardar; mother and step-father, Thelma Neal Dardar Guidry and Oris Guidry; one brother, Norman Dardar Sr.; and one grandchild, Tommy Pierce.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 18, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with the funeral service to follow. Burial will be at Bisland Cemetery in Bourg, La.
Samart Funeral Home in Houma, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
