Margie Wibel Schaumburg, 89, a native of New Orleans, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 4:05 a.m. Sunday, October 26.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Schaumburg; her parents, Milton O. Wibel and Theodora Petifils; two brothers, David and Charles Wibel; and two sisters, Elsie W. Gasselin and Edna W. Kessler.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, October 30, at Thibodaux Funeral Home Parlor in Thibodaux with a religious service to follow. She will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
