Marie Lydia Cotton Poiencot, 74, a native and resident of Houma, LA., died at 8:15 a.m. Friday, March 16, 2007.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2007 and from 8 to 10 a.m. funeral time Monday, March 19, 2007 at the Falgout Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in the Terrebonne Memorial Park Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Randolph Joseph Poiencot; her grandchildren, Alisha Boudreaux, and Sarah, Kate and George Chester; her great-grandchild, Adella Boudreaux Guidroz; two daughters, Norma and husband, Jessie Boudreaux of Berwick, LA. and Debra and husband, John Chester of Casper, WY.; two brothers, Delvin and Easton Cotton; her step-grandchildren, Jessie Boudreaux Jr. and Tisha Marcel; her step-great-grandchildren, Allyson, Jenna, and Thomas Marcel and Nicole Boudreaux; and two sisters, Florence Crochet and Elvira Matherne.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Dennis and Louvenia Lodrigue Cotton; and two brothers, Sidney Lodrigue and Lawrence Cotton.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
