Martha Jackson Lockett, 81, a native of Houma, La. and resident of Los Angeles, Ca., died Sunday, October 14, 2007.
She is survived by her son, John Anthony Lockett; two daughters, Andrea T. Warren and Francine L. Carrol; two brothers, Rev. Jeff Jackson and Wilard Jackson; five sisters, Cecille Jackson and Gergia Mitchell, Frances Hairston and Irene Williams, and Rose Wallace; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lockett; her parents, Cecille and Jeff Jackson, Jr.; and two brothers, John G. Jackson and Eulis Jackson.
Her Funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 23, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Grace Chapel in Inglewood, Ca. She will be buried in Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
