Mary Ann “Mama Rain” Fusilier, 69, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Houma, La. died Saturday June 16, 2007.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Louise Matthews; three sons, Rev. Dr. Vincent Fusilier, Stanford Fusilier and Michael Fusilier; three daughters, Barbara F. Sam, Patricia Fusilier and Anita F. Burks; three sisters, Georgia B. Little, Verna Bernard and Eva L. Mason; 20 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent Edmund Fusilier; her parents, Joseph Flair and Joseph Bernard; two sons, Willie & Gabriel Fusilier; one sister, Shirley Elair; grandparents, Josie Sinagon & Alfred Shelvin.
Mary was a devout Catholic and a parishioner at St. Lucy Catholic Church. She enjoyed fishing, bingo, cooking and spending time with her family. Mary will be deeply missed.
Visitation is Friday, June 22, 2007 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Community Funeral Home in Houma. The Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 23, 2007 at 10:00am at St. Lucy Catholic Church. She will be buried at Crescent Farm Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
