Houma museum takes flight with new display

Mary Ann “Oceania” “Manoon” Maronge, 90, a native of Choupic, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 6:50 p.m. Thursday, April 15, 2010.
She is survived by Anna Thiboaux Delatte and husband, Thomas Delatte, of Choupic, Chantel and Jamie Ellender of Point-aux-Chenes, and Chance and Mica Delatte of Pointe-aux-Chenes; numerous nieces and nephews; and three sisters-in-law, Vivian Landry, Grace Benoit and Cleon Maronge.
She was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church and a previous member of the Lady’s Altar Society. The family would like to thank all that cared for Mrs. Maronge including neighbors, friends, and St. Joseph Hospice.
Mrs. Maronge is buried at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
