Nettie Babin Pichauffe, 94, a native of Bayou Blue, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, January 27, 2008, at 10:30 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Louis C. Pichauffe, Jr., and wife Barbara; daughter, Marion P. Malbrough; sisters, Lillian Pichauffe and Aline Buquet; five grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and eight great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Atole Malbrough; her second husband, Louis C. Pichauffe, Sr.; parents, Paul and Edna Porche Babin; son, Charles Pichauffe; brothers, Essey, Ives and Whyley Babin; and sister Lilly Dupre.
Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 30, 2008 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, and 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008, at St. Gregory Catholic Church in Houma with the funeral to follow. She will be buried at St. Francis #2 Cemetery in Houma.
