Norman J. Knight, 82, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, November 6.
He is survived by two sons, Perry Knight and wife Jolene and Tim Knight and wife Eva; one daughter, Valerie Knight Westerman and husband Glenn; one brother, Ashton Knight; grandchildren, Aaron and Brandon Knight, Kayla, Brian Clifford and Colby Knight, Courtney and Josh Caldarera, Alicia Westerman and Cassie Scrivner; great-grandchildren, Hunter Knight, Olivia and Ashley Caldarera and Malorie and Jenna Scrivner; and a dear friend, Ms. Ida.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Chiasson Knight; his parents, Wilson and Maria Chiasson Knight; five brothers, Alfred, Sedrick, June, Nolan and Jessie Knight; one sister, Irene Knight Pitre; and three great-grandchildren, Cason Harris and Luke and Logan Constant.
He was a retired World War II veteran and was retired from McDermott.
He was buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
