Norman Joseph Gaudet, 84, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, 2011.
Mr. Gaudet was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his sons, Teddy (Connie), Joseph (Reba), Wayne (Bevarly), Keith, Rene (Donna) and Carron (Marlene) Gaudet; daughter, Cherylann Zeringue; brothers, Noland, Arthur and Ray Gaudet; 22 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rene and Blanche Gaudet; daughter, Rosetta Gaudet; brothers, Earl and Benton Gaudet; and grandchild, Norman Gaudet.
Burial was at Sunset Cemetery in Bayou Gauche, La. (Falgout)
