Philip Paul Babin Sr., 84, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Mandeville, La., died Saturday, May 3, 2014.
Mr. Babin was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He had a passion for bowling and singing.
He is survived by his sons, Wayne (Debby) and Philip Jr. (Tara) Babin; daughters, Lisa Heard and Lorna (Keith) Forest; brother, Mitch Babin; sister, Sister Marion Babin; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Joan Babin; second wife, Patricia Babin; parents, Harry and Edna Babin; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday, May 12, at Chauvin Funeral Home with Liturgy of the Word to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Chauvin)
