Houma museum takes flight with new display

Phillip John Donnes, 59, a native of Metairie, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 8:15 a.m.
Mr. Donnes retired after 25 years as the general manager for Radiofone. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, whose life revolved around his family and friends. If you knew him you came to love him. No one was a stranger. He touched the lives of everyone he met. He enjoyed talking and telling stories with family and friends and also spending time with his best friend Max (the dog).
He is survived by his wife, Mary Kliebert Donnes; sons, Ryan (Danielle) and Brad (Ashley) Donnes; brother, Patrick Donnes; and three grandchildren.
Mr. Donnes is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2
