Ruth Foret Rodriguez, 69, a native of Houma, La., and a resident of Berwick, La., passed away at West Jefferson Medical Center in Marrero, La., Tuesday, Oct. 6.
Ruth is survived by two sons, Eno “Buck” Rodriguez of Bayou Lourse’, La., and David Rodriquez and wife Ginger of Berwick; two daughters, Daisy Lange and husband George Sr. of Berwick, and Phyllis “Toot” Aucoin and her husband Larry of Gibson, La.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Eno Rodriguez Sr.; and parents Harry and Della Foret.
Ruth had a love for life that was out of this world. She loved to laugh and make others laugh with her. She truly was a southern lady with her love for family, friends, cooking, travel and a life spent serving the ones she loved. Ruth will be truly missed by everyone that knew her.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at Twin City Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Amanda Carpenter officiating. Ruth will be laid to rest at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Patterson, La.
