Sandra Marie Ward, 48, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, Sept. 8, 2011.
Ms. Ward was Baptist.
She is survived by her daughters, Lakettia (Alvin) Bates and Chaka, Chakkettia, Roctrika and Yackaka Ward; sons, Lynes George Ward; brother, Carnell (Janice) Collins; and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rosie Collins and Clarence Ward; and grandchildren, Lynes Jr., Lyndell and Lyndrell Ward.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 16, at Morning Star Baptist Church in Thibodaux with services to follow. Burial will be at Young Ladies Benevolent Cemetery in Raceland, La. (Kennedy)
