Sara Daspit Lapeyrouse
Sara Daspit Lapeyrouse, 93, a native of Bayou Black, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, January 12, 2008, at 1:37 p.m.
She is survived by one sister, Rita Duplantis; and numerous relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Lapeyrouse; her parents, Joseph and Alida Leonard Daspit; two brothers, Joseph C. Daspit and John H. Daspit; and two sisters, Etta Tastet and Mildred Metternich.
Sara was a retired schoolteacher for 42 years and a member of the retired Teachers Association and Ladies Altar Society of St. Gregory Catholic Church.
She was a parishioner of St. Gregory Catholic Church.
She was buried in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
