Timothy Hunter Bergeron, 18, a native of Savannah, Ga., and resident of Gibson, La., died at 6:55 p.m. Monday, May 26.


He is survived by his parents, Anthony Bergeron and Tammy Nolen Bergeron of Gibson; sisters, Gina Marie Ellis of Portageville, Mo., Miranda Lynn Bergeron and Anna Marie Bergeron of Gibson; his maternal grandparents, Larry and Marilyn Nolen of Portageville; his paternal grandfather, Alfred Bergeron of Bayou Vista, La.; his great-grandmother, Carletha Riley of New Madrid, Mo.; his aunts, Angela Landry of Schriever, La., Tabitha Solar of Thibodaux, La., Cynthia Gilmore of Hayti, Mo., and Cindy Bergeron of Bayou Blue, La.; and his uncles, Cleus Bergeron and Alfred Bergeron Jr. of Houma.


He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Glenda Nolen; his paternal grandmother, Shirley Bergeron; and uncle, Larry Nolen Jr.

He worked in the plumbing department as a sales associate at Lowe’s and was a member of H.L. Bourgeois Swim Team. He was a member of Gibson Baptist Church.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, May 30, at Gibson Baptist Church with a religious service to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
