Verda Thibodeaux

Verda Acosta Thibodeaux, 71, a resident of Houma, LA. and a native of Belle Alliance, LA., died Saturday, March 17, 2007.

Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m., in which a memorial service will be held, Wednesday, March 21, 2007 at Samart Funeral Home in Houma, with burial in the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma.

She is survived by her husband, Roy S. Thibodeaux; two sons, Keith J. and Kevin J. Thibodeaux and wife, Sharon; two daughters, Debbie Trosclair and husband, Eric Sr. and Susan Brierre and husband, Bob; three brothers, Robert, Ronald and Brian Acosta; three sisters, Cherie O’ Shea, Linda Festervand, and Brenda Champagne; 12 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Perquel R. and Alma Boudreaux Acosta; and one brother, Raymond Acosta.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hospice of South Louisiana.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
