Schools gamble for revenue share

August 18, 2011Wilbert “Flip” Joseph Anderson III, 49, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Gray, La., died Sunday, July 31, 2011.
Mr. Anderson was a Deacon at Eagle Wright Baptist Church and a retired technical operator with Danos & Curole Marine.
He is survived by his parents, Wilbert II and Doris Anderson; son, Darren Anderson; daughters, Jarilyn and Shanise Anderson; brothers, Lynroy and Vincent Anderson, Wilfred Walker and Quentin Matthews; and sisters, Cassandra and Lisa Anderson, Maxine (Robert Sr.) Harvey, Deena (Trent) Thomas, Samantha Hill, Shiela Walker, Tina (Howard) Calloway and Schannel (Charlie) Winslow.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Hilda and Berwick LaGarde Sr.; and paternal grandparents, Gertrude “Zella” and Wilbert Anderson Sr.
He is buried at Halfway Cemetery. (Community)
