Corinne Mary Moore Theriot “Queenie”, 99, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at 9:47pm. She was a native and resident of Houma, LA.
Family and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at Chauvin Funeral Home on Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 11:00am until service time. A Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday, November 9, 2023 at Chauvin Funeral Home at 1:00pm. Burial will take at St. Bridget Cemetery.
Queenie is survived by her loving family; her children, David Theriot and wife Judy, and Angela Theriot Brown and husband Kenneth. She is also survived by numerous loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Queenie is preceded in passing by her loving husband, James Theriot; parents, Israel and Lucy Chatagnier Moore; children, James P. Theriot Jr., Jerome Theriot, and Ann Theriot Watson; daughters-in-law, Paula Theriot and Catherine Theriot; grandchildren, Casey Marie McConnell, Kristy Lynn Brown, and infant Anthony Theriot. She is also preceded by numerous loving brothers.
Queenie loved her yard and was very proud of her yard. She took care of her yard, even cutting her own lawn until she was ninety years old. She also was devoted to her Catholic Faith and had a devotion to attending Mass whenever she could do so.
Queenie will always be remembered and never forgotten. She will be eternally loved by all her family and friends.
