Matthew wasn’t a stranger to anyone. He could make conversation with anyone who came around. He was the most selfless human being. He put his wife and children above himself. He was a momma’s boy and everyone that knew him knew that. He also loved everything outdoors. He couldn’t wait for the football season to come around. (Huge SAINTS AND LSU fan) If his wife didn’t get him home in time he’d be blasting the radio listening to it. When he’d finally make it home he was ready to pop a top of cold BUD ICE. He loved to cook mainly his Cajun foods. He wanted potato salad with everything. Using his grill and cast iron pot were his favorites. But over anyone and everything, his favorite part of everyday that he woke up was his children. He loved all four kids unconditionally. He loved to play outside. Rather it was throwing the football or playing some baseball, riding some bikes and hover boards he lived for those times. He loved his family and friends so much. He was such a strong loving person. He fought for his life harder than anyone should ever have too or that I’ve ever seen. In the end cancer still didn’t win because now he’s in the most beautiful place he could be. HAPPY, HEALTHY, AND FREE!

The family would like to send a huge thank you to Thibodaux Cancer Center, Radiology, and Wal-Mart Pharmacy on the east side for all of their love and support.
