Yvonne is preceded in death by her husband, Donald Paul Giroir; parents, William and Leontine Dufrene Louviere; son, Kim Anthony Giroir; siblings, Herbert, Bertha, Norman, Ludia, Ethel, Nolan, Earl, and Bernice.

Yvonne was a beautiful soul who loved all. She was known for her contagious smile, strong willed personality, but had a warm spirit. She loved life and enjoyed Broadway plays, margaritas, Mardi Gras and traveling. She loved her family dearly and adored her grandson and great grandchildren. Yvonne worked many years at Duponts Department Store in downtown Houma. Anyone who knew Yvonne, knew she was the matriarch of the Louviere family.  She was quick wit and had the biggest sense of humor. Yvonne leaves a beautiful legacy behind to be reunited with her family who passed before her. She now rests in the arms of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

The family would like to thank all the sitters for their love and comfort care shown to Yvonne, with a special thank you to Jessica Shamblin.

Chauvin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Yvonne Giroir.
