Houma Police Department - Press Release

Investigation has shown that there were two groups of individuals involved in some type of verbal altercation. As the altercation escalated, an exchange gunshots erupted between the two groups and struck victims whom were not involved and were just in the area.

Parker Allen and the victim had an exchange of words at The Balcony after the Hercules parade. Allen struck the victim causing him to fall down the stairs, before he straddled the unconscious victim and brutally beat him in the head along with a second victim that had also fallen to the ground.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Kereon Alexander, 22 years old, and Henry Harris III, 27 years old, for Second Degree Murder in a shooting from November 2022.

The Houma Police Department would like to announce that after further investigation a warrant has been obtained for the arrest of Kereon Alexander, 22 years old. The warrant has been issued for one count of second degree murder.
