HeirLoom by HerringStone Boutique, a locally owned women's clothing store in Houma, recently teamed up with United Way for South Louisiana and The Haven to donate more than $8,000 worth of new, quality clothing to women spending the holidays in local shelters. 

Congratulations to the High School, Middle School, and Elementary School Students of the Year for Terrebonne Parish!

The compost, composed of bagasse filter-pressed mud from local sugar mill waste, will be spread along the coast to help native grasses and trees grow strong root systems and prevent erosion during the next major storm. Read more about the project here.
