Terrebonne Parish Sheriff's Office - Press Release

Morgan was transported to the Terrebonne Parish Criminal Justice Complex and charged with various offenses, including traffic violations, drug possession with intent to distribute (CDS II, CDS IV, and CDS I), and resisting an officer by flight.

Terrebonne Parish Sheriff Tim Soignet is asking for the public’s help in locating a Houma man wanted for several burglary investigations that occurred on the westside of Houma.  Detectives have outstanding arrest warrants for Derrick Von Chancey, 41, of Houma in connection with the investigations.

Further investigation of the incident led to Agents discovering multiple types of illegal narcotics within the vehicle, in the form of Marijuana and prescription-based pills, along with items of drug paraphernalia.
